The NPC known as Grim Fable was introduced to the Island in week three of Season 8 in Fortnite Chapter 2 and with her came brand new Punchcard challenges for players to complete. Her fourth challenge tasks players to hunt down a wolf for a pretty sizable chunk of XP. These wolves are pretty hard to find, however, so allow me to help steer you in the right direction. This guide will show you how to hunt wolves in Fortnite.
How to Hunt Wolves in Fortnite
The first thing you need to do to start the Punchcard Quest for Grim Fable is talk to her. She can be found in the orange Alien Wreckage on the map to the west of Weeping Woods. Once you talk to her, you will need to complete a few challenges before you can go hunting for wolves. You will need to hide in a haystack at Corny Crops, then destroy three beds in Holly Hedges or Pleasant Park, and then collect a harpoon gun. Once these are all done, you can now go hunt down a wolf. They can be found in various places around the map, below is a map showing known locations that the wolves can spawn. Note that these areas are pretty wide and even if you know the general location of where to find the wolves, you might still find yourself struggling to locate one. Don’t get frustrated and be patient, you will eventually find one in one of these areas. Once you do find one, simply use your weapons to kill it to complete the challenge.
