In Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3, a number of previously unheard-of elements are introduced to the battle royale. In order to accomplish some of its XP-rich tasks, players will need to work a lot for them. The challenge of traversing 500 meters in the Slipstream around Rave Cave immediately springs to mind. This construction is not noted on the map, yet it is one of the season’s most noteworthy additions. If you’d like to know how to travel 500 meters in Fortnite’s Slipstream, look no further.
Traveling 500 Meters in the Slipstream – Fortnite
Fortnite’s Slipstream is a single, expansive air current that circles Rave Cave, extends to Logjam Lotus, and even passes through the Seven Outpost II monument. We advise going immediately to the loop from the Battle Bus if you only want to do the quest since you can glide right into the current and ride it right away. To continue going, you must make sure to stay in the current’s center.
You will likely go just over half of this loop’s length—which has almost 1,000 meters—before the quest is completed. Once finished, it will provide you with an extra 15,000 XP for your upcoming Battle Pass level.

The Slipstream is not the only must-see attraction in Rave Cave. The area’s Ballers are another option for players to complete this task. This is a battery-powered vehicle that can ram or attach to surrounding objects. There are also other quests that players can complete during Week 4. These include basic objectives like mantling onto an edge within three seconds of sliding and decimating Timber Pines with Ripsaw Launchers. Most of these will give users similar rewards to the 500-meter travel.
If you also want to travel 500 meters in the Slipstream, Fortnite is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
