As we near the last couple of weeks of Winterfest, everyone’s racing to make the most of the event and complete challenges. One of these Fortnite challenges is to find and use a Holiday Presents item. Challenge aside, stumbling upon one of these items is simply useful and fun.
How to Use a Holiday Presents Item in Fortnite
Unfortunately for you, there’s no surefire way to get a Holiday Presents item in Fortnite to use. The spawn points are completely random. So, it’s out of your control where they will pop up, unlike the steady path Santa follows. They are ground loot you can find by just scouring the map. What makes matters worse is that everyone will be doing the same thing. All you can do is keep moving and keep your eyes peeled.
Although they’re small, you can’t miss them once you’re nearby. The Holiday Presents item has vibrant and bold Christmas coloring that instantly stands out among the environment that surrounds it. Also, it will glow gold. It’s like a miniature beacon. Once you find one, it’s time to use it.
Thankfully, this is straightforward. The Holiday Presents Fortnite item acts just like a grenade. You can toss it off in the distance, or you can throw it at your feet. No matter where you throw it, it forms a giant-sized present. This has a floor, ceiling, and four walls.
Inside is where all the fun is though. You can find a variety of loot. This includes shields and weapons. If you’re lucky, you can find some Legendary items too.
Besides the loot, this can benefit you if you need some protection. If thrown at your feet, the house-sized present opens all around you. So, you remain protected and surrounded with loot. It’s a good way to catch your breath if you need it.
With Winterfest winding down, there’s still plenty to enjoy before things change. Learning how to use a Holiday Presents item in Fortnite is just one of the many cool things to keep you entertained. Once you find this rare item, we hope you get some good loot (or at least good shelter) out of it.
Fortnite is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo.
