The two Dragon Ball Super characters introduced in this year’s update are Son Gohan and Piccolo, who each have their own special alternate clothing, emotes, and accessories in their bundles.
In addition to Battle Royale and Zero Build, players will have access to Vysena Studios-made Dragon Ball Adventure Island map. This includes Goku’s House, Kami’s palace, and the Room of Spirit and Time. Also (commonly known as the “Hyperbolic Time Chamber”), and Beerus’ Planet.
Additionally, on the map, players can engage in combat in the open PvP battle arena. Tenkaichi Budokai takes its name from the anime’s yearly in-universe martial arts competition.
Son Gohan and Piccolo’s character designs are similar to those of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. It had a limited theatrical release in America. This happened in August last year but didn’t seem connected to any Future Dragon Ball Super announcement.
The cross-over this year comes after the Dragon Ball Super event from the previous year, which was in charge of debuting Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, and another playable in-game character.
As Gohan and Piccolo debut in the upcoming Dragon Ball Super collaboration with Fortnite, it is worth noting that characters from the renowned action anime are featuring in this second Fortnite event.
