In a new blog post on the official Epic Games Store website, Epic reveals the new Fortnite ‘Play Your Way‘ event. ‘Play Your Way‘ aims to incentivize players to check out custom community-made maps and game modes in return for in-game rewards. There is a catch, however. Epic Games’ ‘Play Your Way‘ was created as a limited-time, week-long event and runs from August 30th to September 6th. Players hoping to check out the content, and receive their just rewards, better move quickly.
Play Your Own Way, And Get Rewarded
Rewards will be given to players depending on how many of the Fortnite Play Your Way quests they complete while the event is ongoing. Correspondingly, the rewards have been revealed, and they do look fairly appealing. However, players will be expected to work for them.

The Multiverse Of Community Gamemodes
Chiefly among the game modes on display are modes that take not just from the battle royale mode but Save The World as well. While the cooperative zombie game mode may have been abandoned by Epic Games, the community has conversely stood by it. Also in the lineup are variants of Zone Wars and Gun Game, two popular community game modes. Besides these game modes is a more casual game mode, Rainbow Crossroads, for players looking to just chill.
It’s worth noting the event is now live. Henceforth, players can jump in and participate at any time between now and September 6th to earn said goodies. For players unable to participate, fear not. Given the level of support Epic Games has so far offered community content, it’s likely we can expect other similar events down the road.
