The Gold Bars are a hot commodity on the Island of Fortnite, so much so that you must know how to get them. One of the most consistent ways to get this in-game currency is to use the Bounty system in the game, which tasks you with hunting down another player and killing them in a certain amount of time. To get one of these bounties, you’ll first need to know where to find the locations of a Bounty Board. This is where you will be able to get yourself a bounty. There are all over the island and knowing all their locations can be very helpful as it means you will always know where the closest one is no matter where on the island you end up. Down below is a map and a full breakdown showing the locations of all 18 Bounty Boards in Fortnite Season 8.
- In the center of Believer Beach, in the garage of one of the buildings.
- At the boathouse to the southwest of Lockie’s Lighthouse.
- At the Orchard’s Farmhouse above Corny Crop.
- Just to the Northwest of Risky Reels.
- Northwest part of Weeping Woods inside of a house.
- In the house found at Fancy View.
- Found inside Dusty Depot.
- Go to the boathouse found at Dirty Docks.
- At Catty Corner.
- Go to Camp Cod and find the building on the eastern side of it.
- On the shore of the Lake above Misty Meadows.
- Found at FN Radio.
- In the Northeastern section of Boney Burbs.
- Go to Hydro 16 and head to the western part of it to find the board.
- Head to the tower to the south of Steam Stacks.
- Near Stealthy Stronghold.
- In Sludgy Swamp.
- In between Lazy Lake and Retail Row, you will find it on the side of the road.
Once you find a Bounty Board, you can interact with it to take one, which then will mark an enemy on the map for you to pursue and hunt down. If you are successful and kill them within the allotted time, you will be rewarded with a handsome 70 Gold Bars. These can then be used to purchase items from NPCs and can be used to upgrade your weaponry.
