Get Ready to Build, Drive, and Battle in Techblox
Techblox is an upcoming online free-to-play racing game that focuses on physics-based creation and destruction. Players will turn into engineers as they are given a tremendous amount of tools and builds to utilize to their liking. In other words, if you wish to trick out a shopping cart to fight against a tank, be our guest. Want to add super-powered jets that will eject you from the highway? Go right ahead. Need some machine guns for your spacecraft? Right this way – check out the Steam Page Live trailer for Techblox to catch all of the vehicular madness in just one minute. The only limitation here is your imagination.
Racers are encouraged to experiment with different builds, for the game will see continuous additions for modes and maps. This process allows the player to think before attachment placement; you never know who might be coming up from the opposite side of the tracks.
And this isn’t Freejam’s first rodeo, either. Mark Simmons, Game Director and CEO of Freejam, commented on the evolution of the company’s development process and Techblox, saying:
“When we released our first online PVP combat robot building game Robocraft nearly ten years ago, we created an exciting new type of genre that resonated with a lot of players who wanted to unleash their creativity. There have been a lot of other machine and vehicle builders since then so we know that players still want to create complex and exciting new machines and take them online and battle against others! Robocraft had over 13 million registered users, this is huge and we firmly believe that Techblox has every opportunity to beat that number. We can’t wait to release it to a wider audience on Steam, and see what they all create. We know that they are going to surprise us and motivate us to make Techblox a huge success!”
Be sure to wishlist Techblox to stay up-to-date with its official release. And if you already have some vehicle creations in mind, share your ideas with us down in the comments!
