Microsoft has closed the video game industry’s biggest-ever deal. The transaction has been approved by Microsoft and the Activision board of directors. This acquisition will add Infinity Ward, Raven Software, Sledgehammer Games, Toys for Bob, and Treyarch to the Xbox’s first-party studios, which now sums up to 30 studios. Microsoft also confirmed that Bobby Kotick would remain at Activision and continue his work as the company’s CEO. This decision will be controversial since Bobby Kotick is charged with partnering in crime for not taking fruitful action to fix the toxic environment of Activision Blizzard.
