The First Title From Ganymede Games Approaches
Every developer commits to a different process when it comes to creating and unveiling their titles. In the case of Ganymede Games, they’ve embarked on a survey-based reception to gather attention for their first game, Xenotheria. Now, eager players will have the chance to test out the game through sign-ups on the main website.
Last year, the team surveyed over 7,500 gamers in regards to their RPG preferences and opportunities. The results can be viewed here. Some of the questions inquired players about their current RPGs, preferable party size, and more. Time has passed, and the team is ready to show Xenotheria to the world. By going onto the Xenotheria website, players can sign-up with their email addresses to receive updates, playtests, and more.
We’re very excited to unveil Xenotheria to the world and start getting feedback from a wider group of players. We’re committed to delivering a high quality, single player RPG experience with memorable characters, an immersive world, and strategic combat.” – Jerry Prochazka, Ganymede Games CEO
While not much has been disclosed about the game’s overall nature and narrative, we do know some details. It’s being experienced through a single-player adventure, featuring elements of science fiction and role-playing. It’ll be made available for PC and console platforms soon.
About Ganymede Games
The Ganymede Games team assembled back in 2019. The independent gaming studio is based Las Cruces, New Mexico. They are comprised of industry veterans that moved on from Riot Games (League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics). Their focus is to design games that “inspire exploration, adventures that spark curiosity, and unique gameplay that respects your time and busy lives.” Additionally, the recent announcement for their debut comes after their “angel financing” news that propelled significant funding for Xenotheria‘s development.
