Simulator games are an interesting genre. They’re often designed to give us a taste of something we wouldn’t do otherwise, such as a new career or a hobby we’ve never tried. Games like Microsoft Flight Simulator are a relatively authentic experience. Others are completely off the wall (Goat Simulator, anyone?). Somewhere in the middle of the spectrum from serious to wacky, you’ll find games like Gas Station Simulator. It’s exactly what it sounds like, and it launched on PC last year. Soon, more players than ever before will be able to own their own gas station. DRAGO Entertainment and MD games have announced that Gas Station Simulator will release on consoles on October 20.
Gas Station Simulator centers around the player buying a gas station in need of some serious maintenance. As the new owner of the establishment, the player must paint walls, clean up trash, and, of course, pump gas. Over time, the business can grow and generate profit in a variety of ways. Today’s press release explains more.
“You can expand your gas station to be able to serve more customers. Also, a gas station is not just about selling fuel. You can expand the array of services you offer and thus attract more and more varied customers. You have various expansion options at your disposal, from smaller ones like providing toilets and a simple store to complement your income to big ones like an entire workshop to perform car repairs.”
However, it isn’t always easy.
“Everyone expects to have their gas tank filled and their shopping done immediately. They aren’t even very patient when waiting for vehicle repairs. You will deal with some serious time pressure at peak hours and have to schedule various tasks for when it’s less hectic. Proper time management and choosing the right priorities will become very important in keeping your customers happy.”
