Geek Fuel Box Review
We just received the latest Geek Fuel Box and it makes me want to sing, “I Don’t Wanna Grow Up, I’m a Toys R Us Kid.” This is such a fun box! One of the things I really like about it is the feeling of nostalgia you can get with it sometimes.
Before I get to the latest Geek Fuel box details, I wanted to share some of their other recent boxes so you can get an idea of what you will receive each month.
September 2020
Contents:
- The Legend of Zelda 3D Light
- Geek Fuel Gravel Tumbler & Straw
- Atari Logo T-Shirt
- Fantastic Forgotten Fortunes of Rare Retro Relics, Trinkets, Treasures & Trash (F.F.F.R.R.R.T.T.T Mystery Bag)
Favorite Item in this box:
Without telling you how old I am, I will just say the Atari T-Shirt brought back some really fun memories of me and my older brother playing Atari. Does anyone remember the game Pitfall?
October 2020
Contents:
- Classic Horror Collectible Super7 Reaction Figure – We got The Metaluna Mutant but you could have gotten Frankenstein’s Monster too!
- Time to Shine socks – It doesn’t say it anywhere but you can tell it is meant to make us think of the classic movie, The Shining. I just love socks!
- “It’s Showtime!” T-Shirt – One thing I forgot to mention before was the new packaging for their t-shirts. This shirt came in a box that looks like a book and is titled, “Handbook for the Recently Deceased.” Didn’t I tell you this was a fun box?
- Fantastic Forgotten Fortunes of Rare Retro Relics, Trinkets, Treasures & Trash (F.F.F.R.R.R.T.T.T Mystery Bag) – The mystery bag for October was related to The Shining.
Favorite Item in this box:
The socks were definitely my favorite item. I absolutely love fun socks!
November 2020
Contents:
- A Die Hard Christmas: The illustrated Holiday classic & Exclusive John McClane Ornament
- Harry Potter Mini Snow Globe – You could get one of seven characters.
- Mogwai Movie Madness T-Shirt & Movie Watching Kit – A really hyped up Gremlin with 3D glasses on the t-shirt and a popcorn bag filled with a package of popcorn, 3D glasses and fake movie ticket stubs. It’s the complete package for a good movie night.
- Season’s Geek-ings Bonus Gift Tags – How fun is this? Gift tags from some of your favorite Christmas movies and characters.
Favorite Item in this box:
How do you pick? I would have to pick the T-Shirt/Movie Watching Kit! But, those gift tags are pretty cool!
December 2020
Okay, now it’s time to get to the box that is my favorite of all of these!
What’s in the December Geek Fuel Box?
See what I mean? This shirt is so cool! We were so sad when our local Toys R Us store shut down. It was an annual trip to go there at Christmas and shop for our kids. I love this shirt!
“Kevin’s Knit Beanie” Exclusive holiday Screen Replica
Home Alone is one of the classics now! This beanie is a great item to have from that movie and with the recent white Christmas we had where I live, it came just in time!
Ghostbusters Ring
A spinning ring that says “I ain’t afraid of no Ghosts” was also included in this box. Other subscribers may have received the Terror Dog Ring or the Logo Signet Ring.
Fantastic Forgotten Fortunes of Rare Retro Relics, Trinkets, Treasures & Trash (F.F.F.R.R.R.T.T.T Mystery Bag)
The mystery bag was filled with fun stuff but my favorite is the Toys R Us sticker.
There is still time to get this box!
Can you see why we love this box? It is so much fun!
