The Genshin Impact 3.0 release date is close at hand. It appears like 3.0 will be equally as significant as the massive 2.0 update, which consists of the Inazuma area, Electro vision, and several new characters. Genshin Impact 3.0 update, which includes the new Sumeru region and much more, is just around the corner. Everything about Genshin Impact 3.0, such as Archon missions, character banners, events, and more, are covered in this guide.
Genshin Impact 3.0 Update: Everything We Know So Far
It was revealed during the Genshin Impact v3.0 Livestream that versions 3.0 through 3.3 will roll out on a five-week timetable instead of the regular six-week patch cycle for prior Genshin Impact releases. So, the Genshin Impact 3.0 release date is set for August 24. This indicates that Genshin Impact 3.1 will be released on September 28.
Three new playable characters have already been officially announced for the 3.0 update and will be featured in the first two 3.0 banners. New NPCs will also be added in Sumeru, such as Al Haitham, Nilou, Nahida, Dehya, and Cyno. The Genshin Impact 3.0 characters are:
- Tighnari (playable, 5-star banner)
- Collei (playable, boosted 4-star)
- Dori (playable)
The Tighnari banner will debut in Phase 1, and a Zhongli banner will be rerun. Although we don’t yet know who the other two will be, Collei will be available as one of the four-star options on both banners. Version 3.0 will be completed in Phase 2 with a rerun of the Kokomi and Ganyu banners. On both banners, Dori will appear as one of the four-star characters, but the other two characters are yet unknown.
Sumeru will be the fourth of the seven regions of Teyvat we will learn about. Also, Dendro is an upcoming Genshin Impact element and will provide earth abilities. Events in Genshin Impact v3.0 include combat challenges, Dendro lessons, and the opportunity to acquire a new Seelie pet.
