Genshin Impact has finally, officially given away the existence of Eleven Fatui Harbingers, the shadowy executive officers of the Fatui. They’re not just extremely powerful thanks to Delusions granted by the Royal Highness Tsaritsa herself, but they’re also part of high-ranking members of the Snezhnayan society with nearly limitless resources. In this article, we’ll show you what we currently know about Arlecchino, one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, the newly revealed threat to the Genshin Impact world of Tevyat.

Genshin Impact – Who is Arlecchino?
Arlecchino is an androgynous female member of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers known as The Knave (or The Servant in Chinese and Japanese). She apparently is the one who runs the House of the Hearth orphanage, presumably located in Snezhnaya.
Genshin Impact leaker SpendYourPrimos described her as a “control freak” that enjoys making loyal subordinates under her wing. For that reason, she apparently chose to run the orphanage, which is used as a recruiting area for the Fatui, herself. She is usually a very well-mannered person — graceful, kind, and patient — but she can instantly turn viciously ruthless in certain circumstances.
Based on the leaks from another well-known leaker UBatcha, it seems Childe doesn’t think highly of and feels extremely disturbed by her. Childe believes that there “isn’t a sane bone” in Arlecchino’s body and she could instantly turn against Tsarista in a heartbeat if it benefits her.
Arlecchino Lore in Genshin Impact So Far
For now, not much is known about Arlecchino in Genshin Impact besides the fact that she’s behind Fatui’s House of Hearth orphanage. All the orphans reared in the House of the Hearth are given the Snezhevich (Son of Snow) or Snezhevna (Daughter of Snow) name and later dispatched on infiltration missions throughout Teyvat. She seems to have mastered this “craft” since all of her spies are extremely loyal to Fatui and each other, such as when Katarina Snezhnevna refused to leave The Chasm in a fruitless attempt at searching for her brother, Nikolay.
Nevertheless, details about how Arlecchino the Fatui Harbinger operates have been revealed in two Genshin Impact World Quests: “The Very Special Fortune Slip” Questline and “A Company Vanishing Into the Deep” in The Chasm: Underground Mines.
The Knave seemingly deployed Efim Snezhevich and some House of the Hearts agents to Inazuma. Using his position as the operation’s leader, Efim planned to repay Arlecchino’s kindness by tasking Lyudochka to infiltrate the Shuumatsuban and eventually sabotage the peace talks between the Shogun’s Army and the Watatsumi Army by poisoning Watatsumi’s water supply. But, Efim was suddenly recalled to Snezhnaya before the operation could be carried out, and the plan didn’t come to completion.
Is Arlecchino Going to be Playable?
Despite being the villain, miHoYo seems to be planning for (at least some of) the Eleven Fatui Harbingers to be playable characters. According to SpendYourPrimos, six of them, including Arlecchino, will be playable in the future. However, SpendYourPrimos also reminds the fanbase to keep in mind that the Fatui Harbingers are part of a “5-6 year roadmap” plan. So it probably takes a (very) long time until we see some of them in a banner, and we might only start seeing them somewhere in the late 3.0 or early 4.0 Genshin Impact update.

Arlecchino Voice Actor and Trivias
The official Japanese Genshin Impact Twitter account has officially revealed that Arlecchino (mentioned as 召使 or meshitsukai in the tweet, literally translated as The Servant from Japanese) is going to be voiced by Nanako Mori (森なな子). She has voiced various anime and game characters, including but not limited to:
- Akira Kenjo/Cure Chocolat (KiraKira PreCure a la Mode)
- Akimoto (Fruits Basket)
- Yukiko Shirato (Megalobox)
- Taki (Soulcalibur VI)
- Prince of Lanling (Fate/Grand Order)
- Hide (Nioh 2)
Aside from voice acting in anime and games, Mori had been cast to dub the Japanese version of several American movies like Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022). She was also a member of the all-female musical troupe Takarazuka Revue from 2005 to 2009, using the stage name of Chihaya Saeki, and a finalist in the Miss Universe Japan 2012 competition.
In terms of her design, SpendYourPrimos also added that Arlecchino seems to be created to look more “classy and handsome” rather than pretty, like a princely woman in the Revolutionary Girl Utena anime series, which fits with some of Mori’s previous roles.
In the Italian theater commedia dell’arte, the role of Arlecchino (Harlequin) is played as a cunning servant who frequently frustrates their master and pursues their own love interest, Columbina, with wit and resourcefulness, often butting heads with Pierrot (Sad Clown).
