In Genshin Impact’s version 1.3 update, there is a whole bunch of content being released for the game, including quests, characters, and new weapons such as the Primordial Jade Cutter. A five-star sword “masterfully carved from pure jade”, this weapon seems to work similarly to the Staff of Homa in regards to the fact that there’s a focus on critical hits and a passive ability that focuses on maximum HP and current HP levels.
About the Primordial Jade Cutter
Like I mentioned earlier, the Primordial Jade Cutter is very similar to the Staff of Homa in that it focuses its second stat on critical hits, specifically the rate at which they hit, and has a passive effect that’s almost identical to the polearm. It starts off with a base attack rating of 44 and a secondary stat of critical rate percentage of 9.6% and goes up, at level 90, to 542 and 44.1%, respectively.
The passive effect gives a set buff to maximum health for the weapon’s wielder and provides a buff to the attack rating based on the wielder’s maximum health. Providing help for its own attack buff and getting an attack buff based on something you want to increase anyway is really nice so ascending this weapon is something you’re going to want to do as quickly as possible.
Other Genshin Impact Guides
What makes this better than the Staff of Homa, in my opinion, is strictly based on the fact that it’s a sword, as opposed to being a polearm, so you can swing faster and perform a lot of your combat strategies much easier, so building into this weapon with taking advantage of its buffs in mind might be a little bit easier than with the Staff of Homa but it really depends on whether or not you’re going to try to build into the weapon or you’re instead going to throw the weapon into a current build.
Regardless, that’s everything there is to know about the Primordial Jade Cutter in Genshin Impact! If this guide helped you at all, be sure to let us know in the comments below. As well, share it around so it can help others.
