Best Weapons For Childe
Childe has one of the most complicated kits in the game, and mastering him is not an easy task. However, he is a versatile character that can be used as a primary DPS character or a burst DPS character. He is a bow user making him one of the strongest bow DPS characters in the game. As for the ideal weapon, Skyward Harp is by far the best weapon for Childe. It increases Childe’s Crit Damage by 20%, and the hits have a 60 % chance of inflicting a small AoE damage that deals 125% Physical ATK DMG. When fully maxed, the Crit Damage increase to 40%, and the attacks are guaranteed to inflict small AoE damage. The weapon also increases Crit Rate by 4.8%.
Other weapons that are suitable for Childe include The Viridescent Hunt and Amos Bow. These are a good alternative but require specific artifacts in order to maximize the damage. Free-to-play players can look towards Prototype Crescent or Rust as the primary weapon. A maxed-out Stringless also works well with Childe, given that you are going for a more bursty build.
Best Artifacts For Childe
4 Piece Heart of Depth is the most suitable artifact for Childe. Not only it increases normal and charged attack damage by 50 %, but it also increases Hydro damage by 15%, which is perfect for Childe since he is a Hydro user. As for secondary stats, the order of priority is Crit Rate>Crit Damage>Attack%>Elemental Mastery>Energy Recharge.
For a more burst-centric build, players can replace a 4 Piece Heart of Depth with a 2 Piece Noblesse Oblige set in combination with a 2 Piece Hydro set. This will significantly improve the Elemental Burst damage but will reduce the constant DPS potential.
