With Genshin Impact’s crafting mechanic players have the ability to create delicious-looking meals. You are not making these meals for just their looks, however. Each of those tasty foods has benefits for your characters that can recover health or stamina. All you need are the right ingredients. Salt is one such ingredient that is a little hard for players to find if they don’t know where to look.
How to Get Salt
Thankfully, finding salt in Genshin Impact is as simple as heading to the right shop in Teyvat. Those in Mondstadt should make their way to the nearest General Goods shop while those near Liyue Harbor should head to the Second Life store. Each store sells salt but will limit bulk buying to 100 individual pieces. Not to worry though, as each store restocks their supplies daily.
At each store, salt is worth 60 Mora, but with a discount, it sells at 50 Mora. So as long as you have saved your money wisely, you’ll have no problem buying all the salt you need. You can use this ingredient to make other ingredients, such as ham or smoked fowl, but we recommend using it to make two dishes.
Our Other Genshin Impact Guides
The Wanmin Restaurant’s Boiled Fish meal is great for health regeneration. It heals characters for 35% of their health and regenerates 980 health points every five seconds for thirty seconds. While the Zhongyuan Chop Suey decreases all party members’ consumption of stamina by 20% for 900 seconds.
There are plenty of other recipes that call for salt, but those are the two that caught our eye. Let us know in the comments below what recipe’s you prefer to use salt in, and how much you’ll be buying now!
