Genshin Impact recently updated with new content and with that patch came a variety of quests. One of those quests, “Ah, Fresh Meat!”, requires you to find chilled meat. In completing this quest, you get a cooking recipe for Goulash, an Adventurer’s Dish that feels vital in some situations in-game. Like most other foods, this one does not affect co-op mode.
You can start the quest to obtain the recipe by speaking with Harris in the Dragonspine Adventurer Camp. The quest will have you obtaining 10 pieces of Chilled Meat, the meat of the Great Snowboar King, and the completed Goulash by the time everything is said and done. While everything is mostly straightforward, the most involved part of this is finding the Chilled Meat.
How to Find Chilled Meat
You can find them by going to Dragonspine, close to the Statue of the Seven, and finding wild pigs that are covered in ice so you’re going to want to have your Pyro abilities handy. Once you’ve used a Pyro ability to thaw a wild pig out, kill it and it should drop a Chilled Meat. If you’re having trouble finding enough wild pigs to get Chilled Meat, there’s a spot a little south where they will spawn as well. When you kill your fourth wild pig, the Great Snowboar King will show up and once you kill that spawn, it drops 8 Chilled Meat, exactly enough to turn in the quest and make a Goulash later on in the quest.
A steaming-hot stew. Hot stew made from Chilled Meat and vegetables chopped into small pieces. Slow-boiled tomatoes give this dish a rich and thick texture. Filling one’s stomach with this comforting mixture has a warming effect.
Effect: Somewhat decreases the rate of Sheer Cold accumulation for all party members for 900s. Delicious Goulash slows the normal rate of accumulation to a rate of 0.5%/s (maxes out in 200s) but has no change towards the Sheer Cold accumulation rate when wading or being in Snowstorms. It is unknown if this is intentional or an error.
You can make Goulash by combining 2 Chilled Meat, 2 Carrots, and 1 Tomato.
