Hurricane Seeds in Genshin Impact are another example of ascension materials necessary for the ascension of some party characters. For players looking to fully level up their party and have the strongest team, these materials are a must in Genshin Impact. In particular, Hurricane Seeds are required for the ascension of Jean, Venti, Xiao, and Sucrose. So, for those of you looking to farm this critical material, we’ve created this guide on how to do just that!
Where to Find Hurricane Seeds
To find Hurricane Seeds, players are going to need to locate an Anemo Hypostasis. An Anemo Hypostasis is a 30+ elite boss that can only be found in the Mondstadt region. To be more specific, you must make your way to a circular stone arena in the northern Stormbearer Mountains. Once defeated, this elite boss drops the Hurricane Seeds you want.
However, defeating this elite boss is not as easy as it sounds. This elite boss is essentially an invulnerable cube for the majority of the battle, so you will have to time your strikes just right. The key to defeating this boss is to keep moving while keeping your distance.
The Anemo Hypostasis mainly has area control attacks. Its attacks range from trying to suck you in and releasing a devastating pulse to summoning mini tornados that travel around the arena. However, once the Anemo Hypostasis attacks, there is an opportunity to strike. Do this enough times, and eventually, you will defeat it.

To harvest the loot—or rather the Hurricane Seeds— from the Ley Line Blossom, you will need to spend 40 Original Resin. Unfortunately, the Anemo Hypostasis only drops one Hurricane Seed along with the rest of the loot. So it will take quite a while to fully ascend any of the characters listed above. To even fully ascend one of them, you will need 46 Hurrican Seeds in total.
Luckily, Anemo Hypostasis’ respawn just like any other monster out there. If you leave the area for a few minutes, another should spawn in no time. Follow the tips mentioned above, and farming this elite boss should be a piece of cake.
And there you have it. We hope that this guide was helpful to all of you looking for Hurricane Seeds. Don’t forget to share it with others who might need it! If you have any questions for comments, be sure to let us know in the comments below.
