Genshin Impact had its second anniversary this past September 2022. Between those 2 years, so many things happened and changed. We still remember how at the beginning of version 1.0, we only had one promotional banner. It was “Ballad in Goblets,” which included Venti, Barbara, Fischl, and Xiangling. As time went by, banners had some significant changes in their schedule and the number of featured characters. Now, there are new leaks that point to some banner cycle changes that might come to Genshin Impact. While it isn’t official so far, some players are actually looking forwards to these rumored changes.
Genshin Impact Leaks Banner Cycle Might Get Another 5-Star Character
Players had to adapt when Hoyoverse moved forward from one character banner to having two at the same time. Ever since Sumeru arrived, the rule changed to having two banner phases with every update. The first phase includes the newest 5-star and 4-star characters, whereas the second phase is all about re-runs. Just like it happened in 3.4 with Alhaitham and Yaoyao in the first phase. In that version, we had Xiao’s re-run during the second phase, which is the trend that the game is following. So now in the next 3.5 version, players will have Dehya and Mika. However, this trend might change as recent leaks point out at some banner cycle changes in Genshin Impact, which might bring three banners instead of two per phase. If this turns out to be true, that means players will have to choose wisely between three featured characters and maybe even farm or buy more primogems to pull for them.

As always, this is questionable information. Hoyoverse hasn’t said anything regarding the banner cycle changes or leaks for Genshin Impact. All that we can do right now is wait to see if it becomes a reality or not. With that in mind, players are still excited about the upcoming banners. We have Dehya and Cyno coming when 3.5 hits and said version will give players more than 10,000 primogems. All in all, it is a good time to jump back into the game and pull for some of the new and old characters this game has.
