Genshin Impact: Locations to Find Naku Weed

What vibrates to the sound of thunder even on windless days? Well Naku Weed, of course. One of the newest plants introduced to Genshin Impact with the addition of the Inazuma region as part of the 2.0 update. While Naku Weed currently has very few uses, it may soon become a part of crafting recipes or character Ascensions as more updates come out (hint, it definitely will). If you’ve been wondering where to find Naku Weed or are looking for locations to check for it, then you’ve come to the right place. Here are locations to find Naku Weed in Genshin Impact.

Locations to Find Naku Weed in Genshin Impact

Naku Weed is a Local Specialty that is exclusive to Inazuma. As such you will be searching for it along Narukami Island, Kannazuka Island, and Yashiori Island. Below are maps showing the locations of all the Naku Weed plants in these areas. Note that Naku Weed respawns every 2 days in-game so you should plan your expeditions to get some around that time frame. You can also purchase Naku Weed from Aoi in Inazuma City. She sells 5 for 1000 Mora.

You should also know that once your reputation level with Inazuma reaches level 3 and you get a Naku Weed from Madarame Hyakubei, you can complete “The Art of Horticulture” quest. You will receive a Seed Dispenser gadget as a reward from this. If you equip the Seed Dispenser you will then be able to pick usable seeds. Naku Weed in particular flourishes in the Luxuriant Glebe furnishing of your Serenitea Pot garden.

What to Use Naku Weed For

Currently, the main use for Naku Weed is constructing Electroculus Resonance Stones to reveal Electroculus locations in Inazuma. Besides that, there are no other crafting uses and it has not become a required item for any Ascensions. However, there have been data leaks of upcoming characters and it seems that the playable character Yoimiya will require Naku Weed.

There is also a quest involving Yasumoto (Treatment on the Island) that requires you to collect 12 Naku Weeds. After you complete the quest you can go back and leave another 12 Naku Weeds in the bamboo basket outside his house. Doing so will net you an Exquisite Chest.
