Today’s a huge day for many Genshin Impact fans that follow the game’s sales records. We all know that some banners do a lot better than others. Some have low sales due to them having not-so-good characters or players waiting for upcoming banners that leak early. However, those with high sales are usually due to a favorite character appearing or a highly-requested re-run. Well, it would seem that after a long time, Yelan and Hu Tao’s latest banners have broken Genshin Impact’s sales record. This is huge for the game and good for players because now there’s more budget for better stuff.
Yelan and Hu Tao’s banners break Genshin Impact’s sales record surpassing Raiden Shogun’s banner
Before Yelan and Hu Tao’s banners, Raiden Shogun and Ayato were on top of the list when it comes to Genshin Impact’s sales. That is no longer the case. With a difference of almost 7 million dollars, the latest banners have set a new record for the game. This is fantastic as it shows the love players have for either Hu Ta or Yelan. And, we all know that HoYoverse is going to put all that money to good use for future content.
While there are many more banners in the future, we all think that Hu Tao was the reason why her and Yelan’s banners were key to breaking Genshin Impact’s sales records. Hu Tao is a fan-favorite that has appeared in many collaborations with other brands. There’s even a cellphone inspired by her. Yelan, on the other hand, is one of the best Hydro characters right now that does a lot of damage. The two of them are a great combination for any team composition. While their banners are almost gone, two more days could even bring the sales number higher. We’ll have to wait for the banners to go to see the final number. So, whether you pulled or skipped, make sure to spend your primogems wisely and start farming them because 3.5 is almost here.
