Note that this article does have spoilers for Seasons 1 and 2 of Netflix’s Original series Outer Banks. Next week, February 23rd is an exciting week for fans who have been waiting for Outer Banks to have its third season, and not only will we be getting a new season, but apparently a fourth seasons script was already written, so we will also be seeing the faith of our favorite show soon after its premiere. It is time for us all to prepare for the release, so let’s have a little recap.
Outer Banks Recap Ahead Of Season 3
The show takes place on the OBX in North Carolina, where John B, played by Chase Strokes, takes us on a journey explaining that his hometown is divided into two parts, Figure Eight, which is where all the rich people, referred to as The Kooks, live, and then the South Side, also known as The Cut, where the lower class lives, AKA The Pogues. As John B says in the beginning, The Pogues basically “do whatever we want whenever we want.” While he goes on to explain that The Kooks are their enemies. However, this quickly changes for Sarah Cameron, who is a Kook, when John B falls in love with her.
The story then continues on about John B trying to find his dad and a hidden treasure. This is where the main plot starts. However, it becomes a lot more difficult when Sarah’s dad wants to steal the treasure from under them. At the end of the first season, John B is then accused of a murder he did not cause, and that’s when season 2 begins. Going into season 3, we will see the series open back up where it left off with the Pogues on an island called Poguelandia. You will be able to see Outer Banks season 3 on Netflix on February 23rd.
