In a little over a week, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends has left a strong statement for players. It’s here to stay for a long time. As if the single-player experience of Ghost of Tsushima wasn’t incredible enough, the Ghost of Tsushima: Legends multiplayer further makes the case for Game of the Year. Sucker Punch had this to say on the excitement of players:
Thank you to everyone for giving Ghost of Tsushima: Legends such an amazing launch! In just our first weekend, more than 2 million matches were played using online matchmaking!”
I can’t speak for anyone else, but this game has completely taken over my life. I’m ecstatic to report that the much-anticipated Tale of Iyo raid is set to unlock on Friday, October 30.
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends Raid Details and Requirements
- The Tale of Iyo raid will not support matchmaking. This means players will have to build teams from their friend’s list.
- Players will need to reach minimum ki and gear level 100 to be successful in The Tale of Iyo Raid.
- This is the culmination of the story, bringing the fight directly to Iyo’s realm. This Raid is divided into three chapters and requires a full team of four Ghosts, as well as excellent coordination and communication. (Source: Sucker Punch)
What Else is on the Way for Ghost of Tsushima: Legends?
Sucker Punch has also announced that a new update is rolling out today. It’s set to take care of a few pesky bugs such as the constant network error code that could interrupt game sessions. New weekly challenges are also on the way for those brave enough to test their strength in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. These challenges are nightmare level difficulty and will rotate every Friday at 8:00 a.m PST.
October 30 cannot come fast enough. I am ready to be both tested and frustrated by The Tale of Iyo. Stay tuned to The Nerd Stash for more coverage of your favorite video game titles!
