Santa Monica and PlayStation fulfilled the players’ wishes and released God of War in 2018. The game exceeded expectations and achieved significant sales success. The reboot of the iconic series left its mark on the gaming industry, and the game managed to score 94 on Metacritic. It even won The Game Awards for GOTY, beating Red Dead Redemption 2, which was released the same year. Naturally, there was a great expectation for the sequel, which is expected to be released soon. A while ago, PlayStation gave players a surprise and confirmed that God of War Ragnarok would give them exactly what they wanted in a major upgrade.
God of War Ragnarok Will Be Bigger İn Size and Scope
PlayStation has confirmed that God of War Ragnarok will give PS4 and PS5 players precisely what they wanted out of the first game with a major upgrade. Of course, the first game was pretty cool, but some details didn’t meet the gamers’ expectations though. The company announced the sequel is bigger in size and scope. Also, this matches the previous rumors.
PlayStation’s statement about God of War Ragnarok is as follows;
Embark on a mythic journey for answers and allies as Kratos and Atreus prepare for God of War Ragnarok. From Santa Monica Studio comes the sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018). The God of War: Ragnarok will be released for PS4 and PS5 on November 9th, 2022. Meanwhile, the standard edition will cost $59.99 on PS4 and $69.99 on PS5.
