God of War Ragnarok is almost here, less than a month from now, fans will get their hands on the highly anticipated conclusion to the Norse saga in the sequel to 2018’s hit, God of War. Sony has just announced via a trailer that on the same day Ragnarok graces consoles, the company will also launch a God of War Ragnarok PS5 bundle.
God of War Ragnarok’s PS5 bundle makes sense, but what still doesn’t is also bringing the game to PS4 as well. Considering how the PS5 has been on the market for over two years at this point. The God of War Ragnarok PS5 bundle trailer shows off the benefits PS5 players can expect when they play the game on their consoles.
God Of War Ragnarok PS5 Bundle Benefits
Other than the improved visuals, the DualSense will give players another layer of immersion, allowing them to feel attacks. At the same time, the headset (not included in the bundle) will make it easy to recognize where sounds are coming from.
The launch date of the God of War Ragnarok PS5 bundle, along with the improvements to the game on PS5, have been officially revealed, but the price has not. Pre-orders haven’t gone live yet, but the console will probably cost around $500 for the digital version.
Immerse yourself with 4K visuals, 3D Audio, haptic feedback, and more when you play #GodofWarRagnarök on PS5.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was the first game to come bundled with the PS5, with the second one being Horizon Forbidden West. This makes Ragnarok the third game to be bundled with the PS5. The PS5 is still not easy to obtain, but that might change soon since PS5 shipments have gone up by 400% compared to last year. Games bundled with the console see a rise in sales as well because people want to buy PS5s regardless of which games come bundled with it.
What We Know About Ragnarok
The release of God of War Ragnarok is only a few weeks away, yet we don’t know too much about the game as Sony Santa Monica has been quite tight-lipped about the title. The only things confirmed are that the game has gone gold recently. Other than that, leaks have suggested that the game will have over 40 hours of gameplay, 20 of which will be the main story.
