We are almost a month away from getting the next big hit from Santa Monica Studio. Their new title launches on November 9 and people can’t wait to get their hands on it. Back in 2018, we got one of the best games for PlayStation. As they describe it on the screen before you launch it, “A Bold New Beginning”, and it was. Now, with the new story promising even more things, we want to know how long we’ll be able to enjoy it. And well, today we got confirmation of the God of War Ragnarok length.
God of War Ragnarok Length will be the same as the first one – 20 Hours for the main story
During the last State of Play, we saw new bits that will be in the God of War Ragnarok story. We saw Tyr, a new character, Thor, and more for those with a keen eye for Norse mythology. If you are a gamer who only wants this game for the story, then you’ll be looking at spending 20 hours to finish it.

However, if you want to complete all things and get that Platinum trophy, you will be spending around 40 hours. That’s how much the God of War Ragnarok length will vary. This November is a great month for gaming because we are getting this game, Sonic Frontiers, and we would’ve gotten Skull & Bones were it not for the delay. So, overall, we have two great games launching in the same week. Not long after that, we have the new Pokémon entries and the new WoW expansion. With a quiet beginning of the year for gaming, it seems that we’re getting some awesome ones by the end of 2022. Now it is only time to buckle up and see what the new God of War Ragnarok story has in store for us.
