There’s been a lot said about Warner Bros.’ Gotham since the crime drama first debuted on FOX back in September of last year (both good and bad), but for fans of the life-before-Batman show, you’ll be interested to hear that some of Gotham‘s biggest stars will be on hand at WonderCon this April.
WonderCon is an annual “comic book, science fiction, and motion picture convention” held in Anaheim, California each year, and allows fans to connect with their interests, as well as eachother. Gotham stars Ben McKenzie (Commissioner Gordon), Donal Logue (Harvey Bullock) and Robin Lord Taylor (Oswald Cobblepot) will be on hand for a special questions and answers session, along with producer John Stephens. A special video presentation will also be a part of the event.
Unfortunately, Jada Pinkett Smith won’t be at the event to talk about her role as Fish Mooney, and that one scene that shocked everyone. Yes, that scene was such a landmark moment in the show, that it had some using it as a sole catalyst to label Gotham must-see television, despite otherwise mixed reviews up until that point.
Eyeball worthy scenes aside, the true star of the show so far in Gotham’s short run has unquestionably been Robin Lord Taylor’s take on a young Penguin, so really, WonderCon fans got the best they could ask for. The event will start on April 3rd, with the Q&A session taking place the second day in, on April 4th. Gotham returns to television just a week later on April 13th, so it’s likely the “special video presentation” is a sneak peek at the new episode.
