Heroic assault and Showdown, two new modes for Gotham Knights, are currently available as a free update for all owners of the main game. This release is according to Warner Bros. Games and DC.
Gotham Knights Update with 4-Player Heroic Assault And 2-Player Showdown Modes
An online co-op mode feature called Heroic Assault enables players to form four-person teams. You can then descend 30 action-packed floors into the dark recesses of Gotham City to battle foes and fulfill missions.
The highly developed aliens under Starro’s control are at the heart of the turmoil life. These aliens are of Starro, the Conqueror, and the formidable half-human, half-bat hybrid Man-Bat form. This episode is seen in a recently released teaser, which introduces a new threat to the game.

The primary DC Super-Villains in the game, including Mr. Freeze, Harley Quinn, Clay face, and Talia al Ghul, can be faced off in the two-player online co-op mode known as “Showdown.” Every time one of these bosses is defeated in Showdown mode, the player receives new legendary gear. Also, the player earns blueprints and an exclusive suit and Bat cycle hues.
All Gotham Knights owners can download the standalone online co-op modes Heroic Assault and Showdown for free. Players can access the Heroic Assault mode once they reach Case File 05 in the main campaign. You can also access the Showdown mode if they beat the boss in each Case File of the main antagonist.
Before the release of Gotham Knights, Warner Bros & Games Montreal announced that the game’s debut would come with a new Heroic Assault mode. This move will accommodate the fans’ fervently requested four-player co-op. And thanks to the recent update, that option and a brand-new Showdown two-player mode are available in Gotham Knights.
Today’s update is free, thus giving players free access to Heroic Assault and Showdown mods.
