Atlus, the developer behind fan-favorite Shin Megami Tensei and Persona occult RPG series, has launched a website to commemorate Persona‘s 25th anniversary and announced a rebranding of Atlus online store to Shop Atlus. The new online store will be opened in October 2021 and launch with special Persona collectible goods with more collections rolling out every few weeks. And don’t worry, thankfully the company has confirmed that it will ship any goods listed on Shop Atlus worldwide.
Although Atlus is still being hush-hush about what Persona 25th anniversary merchandise they’re bringing over to the west (and whether or not it will contain hints for Persona 6), the Japanese official site has been offering a selection of goods any Persona fans would want to adorn their desktops (or their bodies), such as:
- Acrylic stand set of the series’ protagonists, priced at ¥1,650 (or around $15).
- Koromaru, Teddy, and Morgana charm set, priced at ¥1,320 (or around $12).
- Protagonists’ school emblem pin set, priced at ¥2,750 (or around $25).
- Exclusive Persona 25th anniversary t-shirts, priced at ¥4,950 (or around $45).
- Persona 3 Velvet Room wristwatch, priced at ¥14,080 (or around $128).
- And many more…
The company added that “Persona 25th Anniversary Year” will be a year-long campaign starting from September 2021 to Fall 2022. With that in mind, aside from officially licensed goodies, there are bound to be other surprises that you can look forward to until next year. For now, while waiting for the Shop Atlus October launch and other exciting information about the series, those of you who are living outside Japan can feast your eyes on a number of phone and PC wallpapers featuring every Persona protagonist over on Atlus.com.
The wallpapers feature SMT: Persona main character (also known as Naoya Toudou), Tatsuya Suou and Maya Amano, Minato Yuuki and Minako Arisato, Yu Narukami, as well as Joker. Better prepare your wallet, and don’t forget to stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for more gaming and nerd updates.
