Rockstar has never stopped the updates for GTA 5 and GTA Online. It’s true that they’ve slowed the updates and started focusing on GTA 6, but we’re still getting minor feature updates and bug fixes. Although the game is finished and stable, the team still seeks new user settings and improvements. Today’s GTA 5Â patch is delivering a new control option for the sprint. Previously, players needed to hold the sprint key, but the update now allows them to choose an alternate option on the settings. There are also a few other changes we will take a look at.
GTA 5 Finally Introduces a New Sprint Control
The new option can be found in the control settings. Included in the same patch, there’s also a new option on your phone. Players can now recover their cars and bikes faster, thanks to the new “Claim All” option at Mors Mutual Insurance. Claiming all the cars individually was annoying, especially when you have toxic friends. A similar option was already available for a few months, but that only allowed you to claim all from one garage. Further, garages now have customizable tag options to locate your favorite cars.

Believe it or not, GTA 5 is still selling a lot. That was probably one of the reasons why Rockstar postponed GTA VI‘s development for years. The game’s online component is always bringing new content, and it also became available on new-generation consoles last year. Rockstar also started selling GTA Online and GTA 5 separately. Nobody wants to pay money for the story mode they played time and time again; that’s why selling GTA Online‘s independently is a good strategy.
The patch is now available on all platforms. The developers didn’t reveal the full changelog, so there could be a few minor changes you could discover.
