As players wait for Grand Theft Auto 6, a new GTA San Andreas horror game turns Rockstar’s famous Grove Street into the Five Nights at Freddy’s. Grove Street 404 is a fantastic tribute to San Andreas and one of GTA’s most beloved locations.
I’m on Observation Duty and GTA San Andreas: Grove Street 404
At first glance, Piotr Rycabel’s horror, Grove Street 404, inspired by GTA San Andreas, appears innocent, though a little weird. Your role as a software engineer and QA tester is to watch a bank of CCTV cameras positioned all over Grand Theft Auto’s Grove Street and report anything out of the ordinary.
Players must report anything they observe that wasn’t there before. Report any disappearances or relocations. One of your coworkers and the administrator correspond on the instant messenger at the bottom of the screen. Their exchange and Grove Street itself grow stranger and scarier as the game progresses.
In addition to keeping an eye out for moving items, you must also watch out for intruder entities. Real life begins to deteriorate as you watch the events on Grove Street with apprehension.
Character models, textures, and assets are in danger of disappearing altogether, endangering your character’s mental stability. We won’t give anything away, but be on the lookout for Big Smoke. He is present and seeking something.
Grove Street 404 is a fantastic homage to not only San Andreas and one of the Grand Theft Auto fan favorites but also to Five Nights at Freddy’s and the structurally similar I’m On Observation Duty and Five Nights at Freddy’s. On Itch, you can play it without charge.
