GTA Trilogy was released two days ago and since it caused chaos for Rockstar Games. GTA Trilogy has some serious in-game issues. Now, fans have found the files of GTA Trilogy not only contain some developer notes but have some unlicensed music and the infamous Hot Coffee mod is still there.
At first Rockstar’s PC launcher was shut down for 24 hours and after the return of it, GTA Trilogy was locked out. At the time of writing, GTA Trilogy has been out of reach for PC users for 2 days. GTA: The Trilogy was also pulled from PSN store for a short amount of time that made fans furious.
“The Rockstar Games Launcher is now online, but GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is unavailable to play or purchase as we remove files unintentionally included in these versions,” Rockstar’s support team confirmed on Saturday. “We’re sorry for the disruption and hope to have correct ones up soon.”
Following the release of The Trilogy, data miners discovered a “holy grail” within files of the game. This includes almost every soundtrack that has been removed from GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas due to expired licenses.
These data miners also found that The Trilogy codes contain an uncompiled version of main.msc file, which contains all the game scripts for all three games, including all cut and missing contents.
The situation will get more complicated for Rockstar Games since data miners claimed they discovered data related to the infamous Hot Coffee sex mini-game that cost Rockstart more than $20m in legal costs. If the files are available, then it is possible modders will make Hot Coffee accessible for GTA Trilogy.
Hot Coffee was a sex mini-game in GTA: San Andreas that was disabled in the final cut that was released for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC in 2005.
In the original game, CJ’s girlfriends would invite them for a “coffee” and CJ would go to the house and the player could only see an exterior view of the house. But in Hot Coffee mod players could control Carl Johnson’s actions during sex. This mod made GTA: San Andreas rate as Adult Only and was removed from sale in many regions.
