There are a total of 12 Skulls in Halo Infinite, the iconic collectibles that once again return to the latest entry in the long-running FPS series. Among these collectibles is the Grunt Birthday Party Skull, arguably the most iconic and popular skull that will have your headshots of the titular Grunts to explode in a celebratory boom. This guide will show you the Grunt Birthday Party Skull location in Halo Infinite.
Grunt Birthday Party Skull Location in Halo Infinite
The mission in question is Repository, the 12th mission in the story. If you have already beaten the mission, you will need to start a new playthrough since you can only get the weapon during the mission and there is no way to replay missions as of now (though 343 Industries has announced that they will add it at a later date). Make your way through the mission until you reach a room with a pedestal in the middle. You will need to cross a light bridge to access it. Once there, interacting with it will start a cutscene with Weapon.
Once that is done, defeat the enemies that attack and go back to the door that you entered through. The first step of getting the Skull is to go to the right of the door and use the grapplehook to get across to a platform. You will find a door here that you enter and it is where you will find a power seed. Take this back across the energy bridge and to the left of the door that will take you further in the level. You will need to grapple to another platform to find a similar door to the one before, once through the door go to the right and you will find a machine that you can put the power seed into. You will hear a chime that let’s you know that you can now proceed.
Continue to make your way through the mission until you reach a room with a golden back wall and two sentinel spawn points on the left and right. On this wall, you will see an open passage near the roof that was opened by the power seed. Clear out the room and head up to this open door to enter the room where you will find the Grunt Birthday Party Skull. Be careful when you enter the room as there are four Elite Blademasters defending the Grunt Birthday Party Skull. Once you defeat these enemies, you will find the Skull sitting on the ground. Pick it up and you will be able to celebrate headshots in a much more festive way.
