There is a large collection of weapons to be found throughout the campaign of Halo Infinite. From new additions to returning classics, the arsenal at the disposal of Master Chief is quite sizable. While having a list of good weapons is nice, having one big, super-powerful gun is arguably even better. Luckily, there is such a weapon in the Zeta Halo, a little Easter egg that allows those who come across it to wield the gun of a Scorpion Tank and become even more of a walking arsenal than before. This guide will show you where to get the Scorpion Gun in Halo Infinite.
How to Get the Scorpion Gun in Halo Infinite
To get the Scorpion Gun, you are going to need to play to the third mission in the game that takes place in Outpost Tremonius. If you have already beaten the mission, you will need to start a new playthrough since you can only get the weapon during the mission and there is no way to replay missions as of now (though 343 Industries has announced that they will add it at a later date). Make your way through the mission until you leave the facility, it will be notable since it will be the first time that you find yourself on the outside of the Halo ring. When the door opens, you will be able to see a crashed ship to the right along the cliffside. You will find the Scorpion Gun here. Climb up the ship (you should use a grappling hook to do so) and go to one of the guns along the hull. Walk up the gun and stand at the end of the barrel, this is where you will be prompted to pick up the gun.

The Scorpion Gun doesn’t show up in Chief’s hand as it will look like he is carrying nothing, but you will notice that the crosshair changes to the one seen when driving the Scorpion Tank. Shooting the gun will give you all the power of the series’ iconic vehicle. It is important to know that if you drop the gun, it will disappear, so only let go of it if you are sure that you are done with it.
Halo Infinite is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
