Skill Tree Records has partnered up with 343 Industries and Xbox Game Studios once again to share the music of Halo. Starting tomorrow, Halo fanatics will be able to purchase two new soundtracks through the Skill Tree Records website when Halo Infinite releases.
Bring the Music of Halo Home with Two New Soundtracks
Founded back in 2018, Skill Tree Records specializes in distributing original video game music. They have a solid list of partners that continue to sell their music on the Skill Tree Records store. These partners include Double Fine Productions, Square Enix, Disney Interactive Studios, THQ Nordic, and more. The online store currently has 45 original soundtracks – this excludes the two impending Halo soundtracks since they’re not available yet.
Both Halo soundtracks dedicate their portions to the two halves of the Halo experience: campaign and multiplayer. The Halo Infinite Original Soundtrack focuses on the single-player experience with the Master Chief taking on the Banished. Halo Infinite Multiplayer: A New Generation will bring forth all of the sounds we’ve heard already by playing the multiplayer mode.
Halo Infinite Original Soundtrack was composed by Gareth Coker, Joel Corelitz, and Curtis Schweitzer. For the Halo Infinite Multiplayer: A New Generation soundtrack, the music was handled by Alex Bhore, Eternal Time & Space, and Joel Corelitz once again. Additionally, Joel Yarger, 343 Industries’ Lead Music Supervisor/Producer, oversaw the composition of the two soundtracks.
The Halo Infinite and Halo Infinite Multiplayer: A New Generation soundtracks are set for release tomorrow, December 8. You can pre-order the soundtracks right now by visiting their respective pages on the Skill Tree Records store. Each will go for $9.99.
Halo Infinite is finally launching tomorrow! With these new soundtracks releasing side-by-side with the game, are you thinking of getting one or both of them? What are your thoughts on the new compositions? Be sure to let us know in the comments below!
