It was the time 343 Industries add multiple multiplayer modes to Halo Infinite. Swat was one of the confirmed modes and among numerous playlists, Halo Infinite’s Tactical Slayer (SWAT) multiplayer is a blast. So here are some tips and tricks that could help improve your gameplay.
In the SWAT playlist, every player will spawn into the match with a precision weapon and no shield. Since there is no shield in the SWAT, a headshot would mean an instant kill. Because of that, matches are fast-paced with players prioritizing precision over anything else. Tactical Slayer is one of the popular playlists in Halo Infinite and it will be challenging for some.
Aim High
Aiming high is one of the simplest and most common tips you should keep in mind. Try to aim mostly for the head. This way you have a chance to headshot the opponent and hit the target if they jump. Halo Jumpers can cause a headache if you don’t aim higher. This way you can kill the opponent with one shot if you hit the head or deal quite a damage if you hit the chest.
Don’t Jump Unless It’s Necessary
Jumping in Halo Infinite is a double-edged sword, especially in multiplayer modes. It can give you an advantage if you know when to jump, otherwise, you will expose yourself to the enemy without any good reason. The only times you should jump is when the enemy is in an elevated position, otherwise, you leave yourself vulnerable.
In an equal situation, the player on the ground has more advantage. When you jump, all you can do is aim perfectly. But the player on the ground can move freely, evade the attack, and have a better shot. So only jump when you know there is no other way to kill the enemy.
Have An Eye On Sightlines
Halo Infinite maps are filled with sightlines in which you can see the other side of the map easily. Since there is no shield in SWAT mode, you can raise that kill count with a precise deadly shot. Pick sightlines that cover the most populated area in which you are sure the enemy will go there at least once.

Forget The Sprinting
The only time you should sprint is when you try to run from a tricky situation. Sprinting unnecessarily in Halo Infinite multiplayer will make you defenseless and vulnerable. Don’t forget that you don’t get a shield in SWAT, so you can die easily. When you sprint, you can’t stop, aim and shoot faster than the person who is waiting there to shoot you down.
Don’t Forget The Melee Attack
This tip is for players who lurk in the shadows or camps a lot. Melee attacks are as powerful as headshots. One deadly punch and the kill is yours. The tricky part about using melee is that most players don’t think anyone would use it in the SWAT mode. Before going all melee attack, make sure you know how to stay in shadows and not seen.
