Halo: The Master Chief Collection is still running its fifth season, but 343 Industries has shown more surprises about the next update. One of them is the inclusion of the Exchange feature in Halo: MCC Season 6. Accessible through the main menu, the Exchange is a place to redeem unused season points. Items on offer will change week to week; ranging from new content, customization item bundles, and even cosmetics that you may have missed out on from previous seasonal challenges. While it will probably cost a good amount of Season Points, it’s still a piece of good news if you didn’t manage to complete the hard-as-heck Endure (or keep messing up the Because You Begged) challenge.
According to the beta test or “flight” footages flying around in YouTube, aside from the Exchange, Halo: MCC Season 6 will be adding a variety of customization options as well, including:
- Fireteam Raven ODST armor for Halo 3.
- Back Accessories armor permutation slot.
- More tech suits — or the Spartan underwear — options.
- Animated visors.
- Animated nameplates.
- More vehicle and weapon camos.
In case you need to know what are the major content update and bug fixes coming in the next season, here’s a list of the features currently in testing:
- Season 6 customization content.
- The Exchange feature.
- New maps for Halo 3 from Halo Online, Edge and Waterfall.
- FOV slider support.
- Double Keybindings.
- Mouse and keyboard support for consoles.
- And more.
Unfortunately, the long-awaited Custom Game Browser needs to be delayed again. During development and feedback sessions, the development team believes that the feature is still not up to par to be tested. Hopefully, it will be available in Halo: MCC Season 7.
