Halo Wars 2 Beta Coming to XBox One

If you are an Xbox One owner that also has a gold membership, you will have a chance to try out Halo Wars 2 from June 12th – 20th (aka E3 week). This information was leaked over on the HaloWars subreddit on Reddit.

Halo Wars 2 is the follow up the Microsoft strategy game of the same name minus the number 2. Creative Assembly, a development house that’s traditionally worked on the Total War series, is developing the next Halo strategy title. The original Halo Wars was mostly well relieved with an average 82/100 on Metacritic with a devoted fan base that yearns to get back into the command chair and move Spartans around like the pawns they are.

Halo Wars 2 will be released this fall for both the Xbox One and Windows 10, but more information is not available yet. With E3 right around the corner, there’s a good chance that Microsoft and 343 Industries will release more information on their upcoming real-time strategy game.
