Harry Styles wins Grammy amid being in a tough category. The singer was placed side by side with Beyonce, Adele, Brandi Carlile, and others. After Trevoh Noah, the award ceremony host, presented his award for album of the year, and Styles was visibly emotional.
He began his speech by extending a heart of gratitude to fellow nominees, maintaining that they all influenced him at different times of his life. His Grammy’s album of the year was “Harry’s House,” which spent two weeks at. No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
One of his songs, “As It Was” stayed No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for fifteen weeks. The singer credited the Recording Academy, as he tearfully commented:
“This is really really kind … this doesn’t happen to people like me very often, and this is so nice, thank you very much.”
