Charli is still in shock and unable to express how she feels about her win.
“It’s been crazy, just so amazing,” Charli told Page Six about her big win as she held onto her trophy.
She also admitted that everything happened so fast. Reflecting on her journey on the Disney show, Charli said she had a great time. She noted that she learned something new every single week being a part of the show. Besides learning the actual dancing moves, she learned how to rehearse and many other things she couldn’t pinpoint.
Mark Ballas Shares How He Picked The Perfect Song
Mark returned as a pro this year for the first time since Season 25 to partner with Charli. He said it was funny how they emerged winners by using a song in his phone folder. He revealed that he told himself, ‘If I ever go back on the show, use this song.’ Mark also shared that the song, Us Again, from a Disney short, was perfect for him and Charli as they had become more like family.
Charli had much support from her fans and family present in the ballroom on Monday night. Charli’s dad Marc D’Amelio, mom Heidi D’Amelio, Dixie D’Amelio, and boyfriend, Landon Barker, were all seated in the front row.
Dixie gushed over Charli D’Amelio’s DWTS win, revealing that she was “incredibly proud” of her sister. Marc also admitted that he was happy seeing Charli following her passion again. It was a happy moment for all fans and supporters of Charli and Mark as they emerged winners.
