Whether delving into the paper dungeons on your own or with a friend, updating HELLCARD is always essential. Of course, this sentiment goes for just about any title with an update, but today Early Access players will get to experience HELLCARD with a bit more polishing. As the road to the official launch continues onward, roguelike deck builders can enjoy some QoL fixes. This is only just a small part of the developer Thing Trunk’s road map for the game, which will eventually release additional content. Be sure to check out the February 20 QoL notes for Version 0.5.230220 of HELLCARD, with the official link here for further reference.

The notes for Version 0.5.230220 are only a portion of the changes that are to come for HELLCARD, as previously mentioned. The road map for 2023 includes the controller and Steam Deck support, new outfits and classes, mod configurations, and other bug fixes. You can catch the official layout for it through the Steam link. It’s relatively fresh, too; posted on February 16, 2023, the same Early Access release date for HELLCARD.
HELLCARD comes from the development team from Thing Trunk. Publishing is through Skystone Games and Surefire Games. It originally came through as a game mode from the Book of Demons universe until the team realized its unique potential, setting it as a stand-alone title.
Players can check out HELLCARD now while it’s in its Early Access run. It currently offers a 10% introductory discount via its Steam page (approx. $17.99) until February 23, 2023. Be sure to leave us a comment with your thoughts on the roguelike title from Thing Trunk!
