Back in September, Xbox had the first steps to change the homepage on consoles. They were eager to bring a modernistic and dynamic look instead of the homepage in use for a few years. We saw the first version of the Xbox Insider program in September, and it got changed a bit since the first version. This week’s Insider release brings a well-settled look to the homepage experiment. This new version is the closest version until the final release, and here’s what it looks like.
Unlike PlayStation 4, Xbox had a homepage redesign back in 2016. Players still use that homepage on Xbox One and Xbox Series. PlayStation 4 still uses the same UI with minor changes. So, Xbox owners should be grateful to have constantly fresh redesigns.
Here’s The New Version of the Xbox Homepage In Beta
As the team’s aim suggests, the new homepage is more dynamic than ever. That means the application you downloaded could make impressive changes to your homepage. For example, it would be better to see your current favorite series’ cover instead of Netflix’s application icon, right? The game developers will play an essential role and design their changes. Here’s the latest look from the homepage design that will make those ideas possible.
Alongside the dynamic features, the new homepage has a different layout and new pinned objects. Insider members can give these changes a try this week. You must sign up for the Xbox Insider Hub to become a member. It’s unclear when the homepage will go live, but it won’t take more than a few days. Thankfully, the update is available for Xbox One too.
Not only for the games, the new homepage also focuses on media applications. It brings a spotlight named “Watch & Listen” and shows all the digital media applications. The new design will arrive sometime in 2023 for everyone. You can download the Insider version until it’s the final release.
