Deku, Ochaco, All Might, and all of your favorite heroes and villains will be returning on April 7th, 2018. An action-packed trailer for the third season of the popular anime My Hero Academia was released earlier this week along with the theme for the new season and the release date. Funimation also announced that the dubbed version will be available via SimulDub on the FunimationNow app the same day it will air in Japan.
On Saturday, April 7th, the first six episodes of the heroic anime will be available English SimulDub and subtitled on FunimationNow. Fans all over the world will be able to enjoy the premiere as it will be available in the United States, Canada, Japan, Ireland and the UK upon release. However, the 25-episode long season will also appear on Crunchyroll and Hulu with subtitles.
The trailer featured above highlights some familiar faces, good and evil, while also introducing a few unseen before. “ODD WORLD” by UVERworld, who recently did the theme music for Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga, is the theme for the new season and can be heard above!
My Hero Academia follows a group of high schoolers as they train to become superheroes. In a world where almost everyone is born with a Quirk, a super-human ability, our main character, Deku, is born normal. However, something so small won’t keep him from following his dream of becoming a hero and attending UA High School.
The third season will begin streaming on April 7th, 2018 on FunimationNow, Crunchyroll, and Hulu. Need to catch up on the first two seasons? The full-length first and second seasons can be found on Crunchyroll and FunimationNow, but the second season will be available on Hulu in the beginning of April. A movie is also in development with plans to release some time this summer in Japan.
