Hogwarts Legacy: How to Complete The Centaur and the Stone

If you plan on getting 100% completion, you must learn how to complete The Centaur and the Stone in Hogwarts Legacy. The Centaur and the Stone is one of the relationship quests that you can complete for Poppy Sweeting, and a pretty important one if you’re into protecting all the magical beasts that you come across. In this particular relationship quest, you will be working with a centaur named Dorran in order to find some very rare beasts that were thought to be extinct until recently. Keep reading to learn how to complete The Centaur and the Stone in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to Complete the Centaur and the Stone in Hogwarts Legacy

Before you begin this quest, you will want to make sure that you are at least Level 30 and that you have already completed the Surprise Meeting relationship quest and the In the Shadow of the Mountain Main Quest.

Meet Poppy Near Irondale at the Cave

Head toward Irondale and meet Poppy Sweeting near the cave there. She will tell you she wants you to help collect a moonstone for her, which you would have learned about in your last relationship quest with Poppy.

Enter the Moonstone Garden

The cave near Poppy Sweeting is called the Moonstone Garden. Head inside to begin the quest.

Find the Moonstone

Once you get inside, start heading down the main path until you come across a door that is slightly broken and can’t be opened. Use either Bombarda or Confringo on the door in order to open it. Head through the door.

A bit farther into the cave, you will come across another blocked door. Open it using Bombarda, then keep going down the path until you come across a third door that you can’t pass through. This door will be sealed with moth pedestals.

Using Lumos, take the two moths in the room and put one in each of the pedestals near the gate. Using Depulso, hit each pedestal until the corresponding portion of the gate locks into place.

When you head into the next room, you’ll find another pedestal. Take one of the moths from a pedestal in the previous room and place it in the next pedestal, then use Depulso in order to extend the bridge.

Once you’ve got the bridge out, grab both moths from the pedestal and place one in the door and the other in the pedestal near the door. Head back over onto the bridge and use Depulso on the new pedestal until a new moth rises up near the bridge. Using Lumos, collect the new moth quickly and place it into the door, then do the same with the moth that’s currently in the pedestal.

From there, head into the next room.

Follow the path until you come to a room that has a bunch of water in it. Poppy will mention a bubbling area in the water and that you should check it out. Head out to the water and dive under the surface when you are prompted to.

As you head up the hill, cast Incendio or Confringo on the bushes in order to clear your path and collect the Moonstone from the top of the hill.

Place the Moonstone Inside the Henge

Head down the hill, then up the one opposite the path. You will see the Henge in front of you where you should place the Moonstone.

Collect the Moonstone

After the cutscene plays, pick the Moonstone back up from the Henge.

This will complete the quest.
