Through the past year, Hogwarts Legacy has been doing some changes to its release date. Even though anxiety is killing us, the majority of fans might prefer those delays in exchange for the great game that everyone is hoping for more. But not everything is as it seems. It turns out WB Games is getting reports of players getting their Hogwarts Legacy pre-orders canceled. This report comes only for those who have purchased the game on PS4 and Xbox One ahead of its release.
PS4 and Xbox One Hogwarts Legacy Pre-Orders are Getting Cancelled
This situation began with the announcement of the release dates. Although the schedule for release is on February 10, those who have purchased the Deluxe or Collector’s Editions will be able to play the game on February 7. This is only for new generation consoles such as the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Xbox One and PS4 players won’t start their adventure until April 4. And last but not least, the Nintendo Switch will be available until July 25. This version is the one that’ll take the longest to release. Now, players have voiced their concerns regarding cancelations of their Hogwarts Legacy pre-orders. WB Games has responded to these complaints personally and found that the biggest problem was the different launch dates. While everyone would hope for one date for all versions of this RPG to release, it seems it won’t be the case.

Hogwarts Legacy: Everything You Need to Know
PlayStation users are the true winners of the game when it comes to Hogwarts Legacy pre-orders. Buying the Digital Deluxe Edition comes with various goodies. Such as a Thestral mount, a Dark Arts-themed Battle Arena, and Dark Arts-themed cosmetics, and 72 hours early access. The latter is available for all who purchase the editions above. All you have to do now is wait and see if changes will be made to the Hogwarts Legacy release date. Hopefully not. If everything stays on course, the game will release on February 10 for the next-generation consoles and PC. So, be sure to pre-order and don’t be afraid of any last-minute cancelations; it is nothing terrible, according to the developers.
