There are a lot of RPGs that are coming this 2023 that many people are excited about. We have Starfield coming, hopefully, this year. The next installment of Final Fantasy is also on its way. Yet, there is one game that might take the crown as one of the biggest of this year. According to pre-orders, Hogwarts Legacy is the most anticipated game of the year right now. It is taking Steam by storm and apparently pre-orders on consoles are also quite big. Now, if the game turns out to be great after all the delays, we could have a Game of the Year contender already.
Hogwarts Legacy is the most wish-listed Game on Steam according to pre-orders
It is strange when a game reaches the most wish-listed title on a platform and stays there for a while. Hogwarts Legacy pre-orders have been crazy, making it the #1 wish-listed game on Steam. While console numbers aren’t out yet, some sources claim the data is looking good too. This is a good sign for a game that hasn’t come out. Of course, everything can change once it launches. We all know the hype leading to Cyberpunk 2077’s launch and everything that followed after. A broken game, people asking for a refund, Sony taking the game down from its store, and so on.

Still, it is nice to see that a game that got many delays is finally coming. Some people think that these delays were great to make the game a good product. Yet, some are skeptical because there isn’t a demo or people having a hands-on preview. This is usually a red flag, but we hope it isn’t the case right now. If the pre-orders of Hogwarts Legacy continue as such, it might be the best game of the month and beyond. However, nothing’s set in stone, and we’ll have to wait for the game until it releases next month.
