HoYoverse has gathered a lot of popularity due to Genshin Impact. While many consider this as its masterpiece, the company is looking for ways to expand its horizons and try something else. If you didn’t know, the developers have another franchise known as Honkai that already has a game but wasn’t as famous as Genshin Impact. Now, thanks to the popularity of the aforementioned one, the company is trying its hand at a new game, and it is already becoming popular. During the Honkai Star Rail special program, the developers showed many things about the game. We finally got to see gameplay, characters, and more. One of the best things we saw is that Honkai Star Rail is making a PlayStation version. This means that PC players won’t be the only ones able to enjoy this title.
Honkai Star Rail confirms a PlayStation version is in the works
This isn’t surprising, seeing how Genshin Impact is on PC, mobile, and PlayStation platforms. We don’t know if the company has a deal with Sony, but we’re glad to see its games coming to console. Those who have Genshin Impact on PlayStation get some usual benefits. If you’re on PS Plus, you get a monthly bundle for the game. Now, we don’t know if the Honkai Star Rail PlayStation version will bring something similar, but we’re happy that it is coming.

Right now, there is no set date for the release of this version, but the gameplay they showed seems it’s almost done. The game looks as great as Genshin Impact, and we imagine the PS5 at least will make the game shine. So, if you don’t have a powerful enough PC or mobile, you could wait for the Honkai Star Rail PlayStation version. But if you want to play this game earlier, remember it’ll launch on April 26, 2023.
