Honkai Star Rail 1.1 draws closer and closer every day. While the game’s launch version still stands strong with its first event, players want more. According to leaks, Honkai Star Rail 1.1 will bring a new chat function to the game. It is uncertain why since the multiplayer aspect of this title isn’t as big as Genshin Impact, but we imagine the developers want to give us a way to communicate with others. The chat function is set to arrive during the next big update, and many are hoping to get some Pom-Pom stickers to use while chatting with others.

It is by no means new that multiplayer games have a chat function, but we can’t see how Honkai Star Rail will make it work in its 1.1 version. If you’ve played the game, the co-op part relies on borrowing a character, and that’s it. Coordinating with the other player, like in Genshin Impact, is unnecessary. Yet, the developers might work on a deeper co-op component, letting more players battle simultaneously. That’s only speculation, as nothing has been set in stone yet.

Most players don’t think the chat function in Honkai Star Rail 1.1 is necessary, but others think it’ll be a nice addition. Some players have even asked for a feature to let them form guilds, but it is uncertain if that’ll happen. Meanwhile, we can wait to try this new feature coming soon. Besides that, we are also getting the game’s first big event which will be playable even after it ends. This is already a win if we compare it to Genshin’s events, in which they are gone forever once they end. Honkai Star Rail is learning from its predecessor’s mistakes, and we hope it continues doing that for the next months.
