Horizon Forbidden West has numerous puzzles scattered throughout the game in the form of Relic Ruins, with No Man’s Land being particularly tricky. Find out below how to complete this short quest and collect the coveted Ornament.
How to Complete Relic Ruin: No Man’s Land in Horizon Forbidden West
For starters, there is a campfire located southwest of Barren Light and northeast of Carja Camp that sits nicely beside Relic Ruin: No Man’s Land in Horizon Forbidden West.
Players should begin the side quest by entering the Ruin courtyard on the west side of the building. Then, use the Pullcaster to pull off the blue vent. Once that is done, players should step inside the vent and follow the corridor outside.
The next part requires the skill of destroying Firegleam, so if players have not reached this point in the story yet, they will need to wait to complete this Relic Ruin. Those who can destroy Firegleam should now ignite the wall where it is growing. Then, remove the energy cell from behind the Firegleam door and drop it next to the cracked wall. Players need to then go back through the vent at the start of the Relic Ruin.
Next, Aloy should move the crate over to the south wall, where a yellow handhold is located. Then, she can ignite the Firegleam wall on that platform and drop down into the newly accessible room below. Players should use the Pullcaster on the cracked wall where the energy cell rests behind to destroy it.
Aloy can then take the uncharged energy cell to the battery charger on the south side of the room and insert it into the battery charger. Then, climb onto the platform where the room’s entrance is located and walk through to the dark northwestern side of the platform. Players should then use the Pullcaster to pull the crate as close to them as possible. Then, go back out to the light side of the platform, stand next to the tree, and use the Pullcaster to pull the crate out into the water.

The crate can then be moved into the perfectly sized spot next to the battery charger. Players should take out the battery and drop it onto the crate using the triangle button. Then, pull the crate through the water to the other side, being careful not to drop the energy cell into the water. Aloy can now insert the energy cell into the energy port.
Next, players should move the crate to below the yellow handhold on the southeastern side of the room. Before climbing up, gamers must make sure to scan the purple data point on the bench next to the energy cell.
Finally, Aloy can use the crate to climb up onto the platform, walk up to the console and enter code 2204. The code can also be found in the character’s notebook.
Behind the locked door is the coveted Ornament and Relic Ruin: No Man’s Land in Horizon Forbidden West is now complete.
