Race with Nostalgia
Rev up the tiny little engines in this new gameplay footage for the upcoming racing game. Mattel and Milestone have unveiled the next track for players to check out in the Hot Wheels Unleashed Skyscraper trailer reveal.
When Hot Wheels Unleashed was initially announced back in February, it was a look at the first track: a dark and mean-looking garage. The second trailer, in like manner, showcases the second track: the skyscraper. Backed with a certain 1990s techno vibe, the cars race among three levels with sights of tall buildings peeking through the clouds. While under construction, the fabled orange race tracks have been assembled.
Of course, the trailer is also coupled with showing off some more of the famous little cars that some might remember (or even still have). The new cars are Bump Around, Mountain Mauler, Sandivore, Boom Car, Buns of Steel, Fast Gassin, and Motosaurus.
Hot Wheels Unleashed Skyscraper Track Trailer
The arcade racing game blends adrenaline-filled fun and creative mechanics that holler back to playing with Hot Wheels as a kid. Children would collect them and watch them go crazy on the orange tracks they had built. With Hot Wheels Unleashed, we’ll finally be able to experience the grand imagination of tiny car racing and track-building. For those reasons of having fun and messing around with cars and tracks, the game will allow players to share their uniquely constructed race tracks.
Hot Wheels Unleashed‘s development comes from the well-known racing game developer, Milestone. Their productive portfolio includes franchises such as MotoGP, MXGP, Ride, and Monster Energy Supercross.
Enthusiastic racer gamers and nostalgic folks can expect the game to launch this year on September 30. It will make its pitstops on all major platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox One X, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
